These Terms & Conditions govern the sale of FLOWBIO products through this website by MTBApp / STACK’D, the authorised South African distributor of FLOWBIO. By placing an order you agree to these terms. They do not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA) or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002 (ECTA).

1. Who you’re buying from

2. Products & pricing

Prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery is free within South Africa. We try to keep all product information and pricing accurate, but errors may occasionally occur; if we discover an error affecting your order we will contact you before proceeding.

3. Orders & acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm your order and payment has been received. We may decline or cancel an order — for example, if an item is unavailable, if there was a pricing error, or if we suspect fraud — and will refund any payment already made.

4. Payment

Payment is processed securely by PayFast, which supports card and Instant EFT. You enter your payment details on PayFast’s secure platform; we never see or store your card or banking details.

5. Stock and back-orders

Where the product page shows units as in stock, those units are already in South Africa and are dispatched from our local warehouse. Stock counts are shown in good faith and update as orders are paid; in the rare event that an item sells out between your order and our dispatch, we will contact you and you may choose a full refund or to move to back-order. Once local stock is exhausted, items are offered on a back-order basis: you reserve a unit from our next import from the United Kingdom, currently expected in October 2026. We will dispatch as soon as that stock lands in South Africa and will keep you updated. You may cancel a back-order for a full refund at any time before it is dispatched — just contact us.

6. Delivery

We deliver within South Africa via courier. When an item is in stock locally, delivery typically takes around 3 working days from confirmation. Back-ordered items ship once our next import arrives. You’ll receive an email with tracking once your order is confirmed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

7. Warranty

Your FLOWBIO Sensor comes with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty from the date of delivery. If the Sensor develops a fault due to a manufacturing defect during this period, it will be repaired or replaced free of charge.

The warranty covers technical malfunctions, manufacturing faults and non-functional components that are not caused by user damage or everyday wear. If a fault is confirmed:

• Repair — we will arrange for the faulty Sensor to be repaired at no charge; or
• Replacement — if a repair is not possible, we will provide a replacement; or
• Refund — if neither repair nor replacement is possible, you are entitled to a refund.

To make a warranty claim, contact us with your order number and a description of the fault (photos or a short video help). We may ask you to return the Sensor for inspection, and we will cover return postage for confirmed faulty items. FLOWBIO is the manufacturer, and warranty outcomes are handled in line with FLOWBIO’s manufacturer warranty; we facilitate the claim on your behalf.

8. Your statutory rights (CPA)

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act. This includes the CPA’s implied warranty of quality, under which you may return goods that are defective or fail to meet the standard a reasonable person is entitled to expect within six months of delivery, for repair, replacement or refund at your election.

9. Cooling-off & hygiene

Under ECTA, for goods bought online you may cancel within 7 days of delivery and return the item for a refund of the product price. Important: because the FLOWBIO Sensor is a personal, wearable device that comes into contact with sweat and bodily fluids, we can only accept cancellations and offer refunds where the item is unused, unopened and in its original sealed condition. Once a Sensor has been opened, activated or worn, it can no longer be returned for a refund on change-of-mind grounds (this does not affect your rights in respect of faulty goods).

10. Returns & refunds

• Contact us to initiate a return and we’ll provide instructions and the return address.
• For change-of-mind returns, the item must be unused, unopened and sealed; return postage is your responsibility.
• Refunds are issued to your original payment method, normally within 14 days of us receiving the returned item (or proof of postage for confirmed faulty items).
• Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable except where the goods are faulty.

11. What’s not covered

The warranty and returns policy do not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse, neglect or accidental damage.
• Normal wear and tear, and consumable items once used.
• Damage from water ingress, improper charging, failure to use the supplied silicone plug, or the use of unapproved chargers.
• Issues arising from use outside the product’s intended purpose.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the sale of a product is limited to the price you paid for that product. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the CPA.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction. We may update these terms from time to time; the version published here at the time of your order applies.
